The US invasion of Pamana in 1989 was also known as Operation Just Cause as all of you custom military ring customers who are old warriors know already.
The operation successfully deposed then declared President of Panama Manuel Noriega, empowered president elect Guillermo Endarma and disbanded the Panamanian Defense Force (PDF). The operation was ordered by then President George H. W. Bush. The funny thing is that Norwiega was once on the CIA payroll but he was obviously working both sides of the fence.
The rationale that President Bush used for the invasion was the harrassing and killing of US servicemen by the PDF. Which is reason enough. The unique thing about this operation is that it utilized just about every kind of Spec Ops unit that we have in its conduct as you Spec Ops military ring customers well kow.
