Fort George C. Meade in Maryland is an Army Fort which was originally established in 1917. It was first called Camp Annapolis Junction. Its name changed several times over the years but it became Fort Meade in the 1930′s. It’s main purpose is to house the National Security Agency (NSA).
There are many other government agencies which utilize the facilities on Fort Meade because its location is so convenient to our nations capitol. This base is the home to many of our military ring customers and our government service ring customers alike.
When I was in the military this was one of the assignments that you would dream of getting. We war weary field soldiers would envy those who were fortunate enough to be assigned to a place such as Fort Meade.
