What is the National Security Agency?

National Security Agency.svgThe National Security Agency (No Such Agency) is a highly secretive government agency due to te nature of its work. It was given the moniker of “no such agency” because for a long time the federal government wouldn’t even acknowledge its existence’

The NSA is responsible for collecting and analyzing foreign communications and signal intelligence and for protecting our government communications from being monitored by other countries.

The NSA also monitors federal computer networks to protect them from attack. That in itself is a monster job. The NSA can monitor any type of electronic communication. Your cell phone calls, computer, anything. Now that being said leads me to wonder and to ask you the question, I wonder how many planned terror attacks have been thwarted by the NSA?

All of my military ring customers and every civilian in this country should give this question a lot of thought. They have probably saved us from things that we will never even know about.
