Female Special Operators are now in the Field

A few months back I posted an article that the Army was considering using women to accompany Special Operator ring customers into combat because of cultural differences between the West and Eastern cultures, and to assist with women in the field. The fact that American men had to sometimes handle women in a culture where women are required to keep their bodies covered did not sit well with the indigent people.

The term Cultural Support Teams accurately describes the purpose of these female spec Ops ring customers. They bring a sensitivity for the culture that the troops have to deal with and I honestly believe that we will begin to get more intel as the women begin to open up to them.

These women are currently deployed with some Ranger and Special Forces ring customers in Afghanistan. Their purpose is not to have to fight their way through or into hostile territory but to assist in those areas where we have already gained control.

Supposedly they are doing very well with the units that they are stationed with but we will keep an eye on things as they pan out and see. Personally I believe that this will open up many uncovered ppossibilities, especially in the gathering of intelligence. I believe that many females in occupied areas will feel comfortable to open up and share more of the intel that they have to know. We will keep you abreast of the situation.
