Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery; Let us Never Forget

Posted November 10th, 2009 by StylinSoldier

ancSection 60 of Arlington National Cemetery contains the remains of all nationalities of servicemen and women killed in the war on terror. It was dedicated for that purpose although many who could be buried there have chosen to be buried in the cemeteries of their home towns.

There are remains there from the 1983 terrorist bombing in Beirut Lebanon, the USS Stark incident, Somalia, the bombing of the USS Cole, operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Let us remember the price that these souls and many, many others have paid to perserve and protect our liberty. We should keep their memories fresh in our minds because they gave their all for us and they deserve to be remembered. This post is our tribute to them and all who have died in wars throughout history for our country.

Let us never forget. http://www.militaryringexpress.com
