The Military Recruiter is probably one of the hardest working persons in the military. His or her job is strictly based on numbers so the good recruiter is the one which signs up the most soldiers. The recruiter is put under intense pressure to get people into the military. They average recruiter probably puts in more hours than most soldiers in some of the militarys most high speed units.
The recruiter knows shortage areas in the service and he or she knows the bonuses which are offered to enlist in certain occupational specialties.
All recruiters are given a Recruiter’s Ring by their command during their tour of duty there but we have done rings for some recruiters who have lost theirs.
