The Chinese are continuing to build up the number and quality of their forces. I still think that their intentions are not good. With military technology which they claim is very close to that of the West they might have enough salt to want to try to back up the threats that they are so quick to make.
They could never project their forces all of the way across the Pacific but they can certainly give Asia and Europe a run for the money. The Chinese claim that their jets, tanks, ships, submarines, and missiles are comparable to ours. I don’t think that this is entirely true but they are indeed making long strides.
They have added many nuclear submarines, and destroyers with stealth capability to their Navy.
They are increasing their ability to project force over distance. So once again take this warning from the military ring man. Lets keep a watchful eye on the Chinese.
The sheer size of their Armed Forces is formidible, but when you add the updated technology to their arsenal they are certainly a force to be reckoned with.
