fast marinesThis form of combat is also known as close quarters battle. CQC is different in that it is up close and personal fighting. Soldiers have to be specially trained for CQC because regular tactics and weapons are designed for longer range fighting.

American soldiers have the greatest advantage on the battlefield because of the superior technology that we posses. We like to engage the emeny at greater ranges because most of our weapons are designed for range and accuracy. We can also use more systems at longer ranges such as cruise missiles, artillery, tanks, heavy machine guns, and air strikes. We can’t use any of these resources at close range.

In close quarter combat you have to rely on the individual abilities of your fighting men more so than the technology of your weapons systems. The weapons that the soldier will use in CQC will be small stock rifles or shotguns, knives, and hands and feet. You can’t get much more personal than that. Many of our customers who have purchased special operations rings, such as Army Ranger, or Navy SEAL rings from us have had special training in this form of combat.
