It Appears that the Insurgency in Iraq is Over

marinesFor all  intents and purposes it appears that the insurgenncy in Iraq is over. There is still some sporadic action but that will probably be the case for a long time to come. Our military has done a marvelous job in clearing up the insurgency.

The fate of Iraq is now in the hands of their new government. They will have some problems in the future but problems are a way of life. the Iraqis should be able to stand with our help and their continued committment.

Our troops had to transition to a whole new way of warfare during Operation Iraqi Freedon. They also had to make the transition from soldier to police force which they also did. They showed versatility, and ingenuity during this operation.

Unfortunately many of our troops have given their lives in support of this operation. The Iraqi and the American people have a debt of gratitude that we can never repay to these fallen warriors.

Accept the condolences of the custom military ring man for each and every soldier, sailor, airman and marine who has served in this conflict. You deserve our appreciation.
