President Obama reiterated that we have no plans to send troops to Yemen or Somalia despite al-Qaeda’s growing operations in those countries.
I personally believe that we can bring about our own military and financial collapse if we try to follow al-Qaeda everywhere that they pop up. To be perfectly honest we will never be able to completely eradicate the threat that they pose to the safety of Americans throughout the world.
We have certainly been able to keep them at bay so maybe it is in our best interest to refine those things that have helped us to do so. I forsee an expanded use of drone technology to assist us in fighting terror in those areas. We have recently made tremendous strides in our drone capability to acquire intelligence and to strike at known targets.
Another advantage that we have is the ability of our special operations troops to snatch known al-Qaeda operatives.
At the very most maybe we may need to use a small number of advisors to help the governments of those two countries to deal with al-Qaeda within their borders. The one thing tat we do need is the cooperation of those two governments. Our troops are already stretched thin and ragged out. I’m sure that our custom military ring customers will agree that sending troops can’t solve every problem that we may encounter with al-Qaeda.
