Do you remember the Iraqi reporter who threw his shoes at then President Bush? He was recently released after serving nine months in prison and if you were to ask me and any one of us at the Operation Iraqi Freedom Ring place we all have the same opinion which is that nine months is not enough time for the scumbag.
Muntadhar al-Zeidi now claims that he fears for his life because US Intelligence services want him dead. My motto to this story grasshopper is this; “Before you throw shoe at President you should think about consequences.” I guess now he needs to learn how to work on his escape and evasion skills to bring them up to the level of his shoe throwing skills.
Mr al-Zeidi claims that he was severly tortured while he was in prison. He says that he was beaten with iron rods, shocked, whipped, and splashed with cold water and then left out in the cold. I bet that cold water was a real head rush!
As you can see there is not a whole lot of sympathy for him here, but before we leave you let us leave you this little tidbit. Mr al-Zeidi was supposed to serve 1 year in prison but was released after 9 months for good behavior. Now maybe this is just a figment of my pea brained imagination but let me ask you this. If you enjoyed torturing the crap out of someone would you let them go home early and miss out on 3 months of fun?
