I’m sure many of you are aware that US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has just returned from China where he spent some time on a tour of a few of the Asian Countries. He ended up his tour with a last whirlwind crock of bull visit to China. I think that the real purpose of that visit was to see who could BS who the most.
The Chinese supposedly showed him their nuclear headquarters but we will talk a little bit more about that later. The Chinese assured him that they have no intentions of using nuclear weapons against us in a preemptive strike. If the truth be told they have also said that their current military buildup is for the purpose of defending their country yet they continue to develop only offensive weapons.
The facility which they so graciously allowed our Secretary of Defense to tour is certainly not the real location of their headquarters in case of war anyway. It was just a sterile prop used to try to make us believe that their intentions are good. I’m sure they were gracious and smiling and everything was just peachy king. I’m also sure that Mr Gates was gracious and smiling and acting like he was eating up the attention.
Mr Gates proclaimed at the end of his visit that he had successfully patched up damaged ties with China. Yeah right. You see thats why I’m not a politician. I’m just not a very good liar. It looks like everybody is pulling everybody else’s leg on this one. Since I was just a soldier I didn’t have to try to figure stuff like this along with our custom military ring customers. We just followed the orders of the people that we thought had a real clue.
