A Missing US Soldier is Sold in Afghanistan

us tanksThe latest information on a US soldier who went missing in Afghanistan last week is that he has been sold to a warlord named Siraj Haqqani. US sources haved not named the soldier yet or elaborated on the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

According to Taliban commander Mului Sangeen the soldier was captured while drunk and visiting another camp. If you believe that I have some nice green farmland in the Sahara that I can sell you real cheap.

I wonder how the soldier was lured far enough away to be captured by the Taliban. The problem is that the Taliban is blending in with the local population and are hard for US forces to identify so my guess is that someone who portrayed himself as a friend was able to lure the soldier far enough away for him to be snatched. We certainly send our condolences to the soldier and his family members and we hope that he returns soon.

As far as the being drunk stuff is concerned I certainly don’t believe it because there is no way for US forces to buy alcohol in Afghanistan. Not only that but there are severe disciplinary penalties for being drunk on duty. The reason for making that statement is to give an excuse to torment the soldier and justify it because drunkeness is so strictly forbidden by their law and rightly so, but so should be the use of opium.

I wish all of the troops involved in Operation Enduring Freedom the very best and we at http://www.militaryringexpress.com wish you well.
