White Sands Missile Range is located in South West New Mexico and is the largest military installation in the United States. The custom military ring that I created could tell the story of the time that yours truly was stationed there also. My Artillery unit was tasked to go there when the Army first introduced and tested its Multiple Launch Rocket System.
The range is miles and miles of desert. It has to be so because it is a missile range. There were various other missile tests conducted during the time that I was stationed there. White Sands Missile Range is located close to Las Cruces New Mexico, Oro Grande New Mexico, and El Paso Texas. I did manage during my time there to visit Las Cruces, El Paso, and Juarez Mexico. Ienjoyed my time there very much and hated to leave. The people in the area seem to be very laid back and friendly. There is not much information to tell about the area because of its mission, but if you are in the military and get orders to go there I believe that you will really enjoy it.
