The Chinese took exception to remarks mage by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her tour of Southeast Asia. She stated that the Chinese should resolve the differences that they have with many of their neighbors on the limits of territorial waters.
Now she made sure to put as much sugar on top of what she said as she possibly could. What she was really saying was; “Look China you know that it isn’t right to bully your neighbors the way that you do. You shouldn’t imtimidate them just because you are bigger.” Well the Chinese really took exception and came back with some harsh comments of their own. The only thing that I can say to Hillary is this; Since they want to be provoked at this meaningless statement why don’t you really let them have it next time? I know that you have the kahunas to do it. Forget them.
At some point in time we need to stand up to the neighborhood bully and let him know that we are not bothered by his humming and haawing. Maybe one of our submarines should accidentally sink a Chinese ship or two.
What about if one or two of their top leaders should mysteriously dissappear or have a bad accident. I want to take this opportunity to remind the hinese about an old Chinese proverb; The military ring man say, “It is better to be ticked off than to be ticked on.”
