The Aircraft Carrier is so crucial to most aspects of naval operations that it is referred to as the cornerstone of the US Navy. The carrier is a formidible force because it can project so much heavy duty air power so quickly and decisively anywhere in the world. The carrier is our enemys worst dream. When it gets there its like having Freddy Kruger stuck to your head with super glue. Whenever there is a crises situation anywhere in the world the nearest carrier group is dispatched to hold it down until other forces can arrive.
Each carrier is deployed with a host of other support vessels to form a carrier battle group. When you put the fire power in perspective that the battle group brings into play you have a serious force to contend with. Many of our customers who have served in the US Navy have come up with all kinds of unique ways to show the carrier that they served on by creating a Custom Navy Ring. I am always amazed at how they come up with different ways to create their rings.
