The B-29 Superfortress was the name given to the four engine propeller driven heavy Air Force bomber during WWII and The Korean Conflict. This plane was well ahead of its time when it went into service and was the airplane used to drop the first atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The first Kamikazee pilots were the Japanese pilots who resorted to ramming their aircraft into the B-29 in order to bring them down. (I’ll bet you didn’t know that did you)?
The B-29 has carved its place in history and is now nothing more than a distant memory for some. Do you have distant memories of your time spent in military service? If so you can build your custom Air Force ring to commemorate your distant memories. Come and se what we can offer you at http://www.militaryringexpress.com
