pre jump inspectionJump School is conducted by the 1st Battalion (Airborne) 507th IN which is located in Fort Benning GA is an all volunteer school which services all branches of the US military. This three week course teaches the volunteer techniques in being deployed into combat by parachute. This course is also designed to develop leadership and physical and mental toughness in the volunteer.

I was surprised by the physical demands of this school when I went through way back when. I had a new found respect for paratroopers by the time that I graduated. By the time you make your first jump you will be ready both physically and mentally.

The parachutists badge and jumpmaster’s badge are two of the laser vue designs available to you when you create your paratrooper’s ring, or jumpmaster’s ring
