Operation enduring Freedom began almost as soon as the terrorists bombed the twin towers in 2001. The United States Government recognized that steps had to be taken to stop al-Qaeda and other terror organizations from harming innocent civilians.
The immediate steps were to identify the terrorists that attacked the twin towers and hit their organization right at the heart of its existence. It was determined that to do this we had to take out Osama bin Laden’s headquarters which happened to be in Afghanistan.
The Operation has extended into other countries as our forces have followed the terrorists as they attempt to escape the constant pressure that we maintain on them.
Operation Enduring Freedom will probably never end because there will always be terrorists out there who are bent on killing innocent people.
Many of our custom military service ring customers have given their lives to the cause of Operation Enduring Freedom.
