High Payoff Targets

What would be an example of this? I know the definintion but just need an example

    A high payoff target is the one which you choose to attack because of its higher value. For example if one of my forward observers is looking at a small formation of soldiers, but I get another target at the same time (such as a group of high ranking leaders) which is more important, I will go for the more important target because it will do more damage to the enemy…
