The missile maintenance badge is the side panel design that you see here it can be worn by commissioned officers and enlisted personnel of the US Air Force who have qualified as missile personnel. They have to be trained in the launching of landbased nuclear weapons.
There are three levels of expertise for those who are awarded this badge, they are basic, senior, and master. They are awarded based on the seniority and training level of the recipient.
