The USAF Fire Protection Side Panel Design

Fire ProtectionFire protection is one of the most demanding careers that the Air Force has to offer. Recruits are taught how to control fires, prevent fires and  assist those in danger. Those interested in a career as a firefighter in the Air  Force should have a high school diploma or GED, meet all the necessary  requirements for entrance into the Air Force and demonstrate physical endurance  with the ability to perform under pressure.

Of course this type of fire protection trining is very much different from civilian training or training for other services. When you look at the types and complexity of the equipment that the Air Force offers you can see why. This job is more intense depending on just where you are stationed and perform your day to day activities.
