The Third Marine Division is a Marine Infantry Division located on Camp Courtney, Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, and Okinawa Japan. This division was formed out of neccessity during WWII and has participated in every major conflict since then.
The division is composed of two infantry regiments, an artillery regiment, a reconnaissance battalion, and a combat assault battalion.
