The Unites States Marine is truly a unique individual. The conbat Marine is highly proficient in hand to hand combat, survival echniques and military tactics. He or she has a long history of tradition and effective training to draw from.
The Marines have been very effective over their long history at training warriors. They can take a civilian off of the streets and turn him into a warrior in just a few weeks.
They function as Naval Infantry although they don’t fight in modern times the same way that they did in the past. In the past when one ship would engage with another at sea a boarding party of Marines would occupy the enemy ship and take it over. This means that there was a lot of bloody hand to hand fighting. This fighting tradition is still evident today in the way that the Marines stress hand to hand combat in their training.
One significant way that they were used in the past and are still used today is to fight intense rather short battles on dry land. They are not neccessarily geared for prolonged combat on a sinlge piece of land like the army but they can if they have to.

The troop who graduates from the Airborne School located in Fort Benning GA has a right to create an Airborne Graduation Ring to commemorate the event.
Airborne school is a three week course if the student does not have to repeat a phase of the training. The first week concentrates on landing techniques which are extremely important. The student doesn’t use the sport chutes that you see sport sky divers use. The Military parachute is not unforgiving and the landings tend to be hard. The troop has to have superior leg strength if he doesn’t he could possibly injure himself seriously on landing.
The second week of Airborne training consists of learning how to exit the aircraft and control the chute during descent. Once the paratrooper has mastered this he moves on to the last week of training which is called jump week. During jump week he or she must make five successful jumps in order to be jump qualified. The jumper then receives his jumpwings to wear on the uniform.
You can get the Airborne Jumpwings as a laser vue design when you purchase your Airborne Graduation Ring. If you graduate from jumpmaster’s school you can choose to get the jumpmasters wings.

Since our USAF is a diverse and versatile branch of service there are many different types of designs available. Sometimes it is confusing to the buyer because there are so many choices to consider when you start to design your custom USAF ring. This is the reason that we always attempt to leave you with a phone number so that you can call us and receive clarification on the order process if neccessary.
There are several different styles for men that you can choose from and they are all popular. Since the mens USAF ring is much larger than the woman’s USAF military ring you can place much more custom design work on each of it’s side panels.
The men’s USAF military ring also can be purchased in a square faced stone which has a bolder look or a round faced design for a more subdued look. The choice belongs to you depending on your own personal taste. You can put up to two different lines of information on each side of the ring above the side panel design as opposed to the one line of information that you can place on the women’s ring.
You can purchase a men’s USAF ring regardless of the job that you held while in the service. You can purchase it for yourself or as a gift. You can also purchase it to commemorate your retirement, graduation from a military school, or to commemorate the time that you spent in a military campaign.
