The US Army Officer Candidate School (OCS) is located in Fort Benning Ga and is part of the US Army Infantry school although it is branch immaterial.
It is a means of rapidly producing qualified Officers in time of need if the situation dictates. It is one of 5 ways that a person can become an Officer in the US Army. Persons who can be selected to attend can come from various backgrounds. They can be enlisted personnel up to the rank of Master Sergeant, can come from the warrant officer ranks, from other branches of the military, or can be civilians with a college degree who have attended Basic Combat Training (BCT).
The school can have five classes of 172 students each going on at the same time. The insignia which is shown at the top of the page is the insignia of the school and it is available for those of you who would like to create a custom OCS military ring. You can purchase it in all of the metal choices that we have available for our military rings. You can pick a different military ring design for the other side of your military ring.
