Miriam Cohen who was the oldest female Marine was finally laid to rest recently. She enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1943 at the age of 35. She passed away on Veteran’s Day which was a fitting memorial to the life that she lived. She continued to help out other veterans as long as she possibly could. She would be seen even when she was in her 90′s assisting other veterans. Thats some serious dedication for you.
Ms Cohen was a veteran of both the Korean War and World WarII.
The life of this Marine should be a testament to all of my Marine Corps ring customers out there. In my mind she represented the epitome if what a Marine should be. The Corps was obviously the focus of her life. If you are going to be devoted to a cause you should live for it with all of your heart.
