The Air Force Will Graduate Drone Pilots

MQ-9 ReaperThe US Air Force is planning to graduate drone pilots from flight school. The big difference about this is that some pilots will specialize in operating drones as a career pattern. These particular pilots will not go on to serve as fighter pilots etc. This is a necessary change which has been brought about by the war on terror.
Obviously drones have proved their worth in this war for the Air Force to want to consider adding drone pilots training.
I think that they will give many additional benefits, but they will never take the place of piloted airplanes of course.
The Air Force currently flies 34 constant combat air patrols. This means that there are 34 drones constantly airborne looking for targets to engage. I can see how this will greatly save manpower and money, but most importantly it should save lives.
This new developement means that we will have to add some custom Air Force ring designs to our web site sometime in the future.
