The attack which took out the militants was a coordinated attack and proved to be quite effective. There were a total of 18 missiles fired from a group of drones which struck three different targets simultaneously.
Now military ring customers put on your thinking cap for a minute or two. You don’t have to wear them long but lets consider this. There had to be excellent intelligence from somewhere. Two of the targets were hideouts so we had to first know where these hideouts were, and when there were militants hiding there. That in itself was a feat. Of course we won’t ever know the source of this intel but it was probably human intelligence.
In addition, we had to bring our drones together to fire the mission. Now I don’t mean that they were all in the same place but the missile firing had to be coordinated so that all of the missiles hit their targets at the same time.
Now my venerable custom military ring customers you may or may not understand how much planning had to go into this but it had to be a lot. You have to consider the location of each drone, the time that it takes for the missile to reach its target, and get each drone to fire at exactly the right time which is not a small feat. My field artillery custom military ring customers understand this concept well. Hopefully someone will now begin to appreciate the amount of effort that it takes to fight a war.
