I am sure that I have done a post on this item before but I just want to reiterate about it again for all of my custom military ring customers who may have missed the first post. This is a smart grenade system which if it lives up to its billing should give our infantry ring customers a tremendous battlefield advantage.
This launcher uses a laser range finder along with a small ballistic computer to fire a smart projectile. The grenade that it fires can be set to burst on the other side of whatever cover that the enemy may be hiding behind. For example if the enemy is behind a wall it will not burst until it is right overhead thus killing more of them.
The launcher has an effective range of 600 meters which is much better than the effective range of most rifles. The army claims that it is 300% more lethal than any other small unit weapon. They plan to issue one to each infantry squad which will certainly make my regular army ring customers happy. My special forces ring customers will be happy to hear that each team will receive one of these new weapons also.
